Day 1:

Arrival Geneva
Embedded between nearby Alpine peaks and the hilly terrain of the Jura, the French-speaking city of Geneva lies in the bay
where the Rhone leaves Lake Geneva. With its humanitarian tradition and cosmopolitan flair, the European seat of the UNO and
headquarters of the Red Cross is known as the “capital of peace”. Overnight in Geneva.

Day 2: Arrival Geneva
Embedded between nearby Alpine peaks and the hilly terrain of the Jura, the French-speaking city of Geneva lies in the bay
where the Rhone leaves Lake Geneva. With its humanitarian tradition and cosmopolitan flair, the European seat of the UNO and
headquarters of the Red Cross is known as the “capital of peace”. Overnight in Geneva.
Day 3: Train ride Geneva - Zermatt
Today you leave the French speaking part of Switzerland and ride on board of the train along Lake Geneva, through the Rhone
Valley up to Visp. Change trains here and climb on the tracks of the world famous Glacier Express train to the mountain resort of Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 4: Gornergrat -'the' excursion mountain’ since 1898
Europe's highest cogwheel railway climbs the Gornergrat (3,089 m a.s.l.) daily every 24 minutes across stunning bridges, through galleries and tunnels, idyllic forests, past gorges and mountain lakes – with the Matterhorn always in the field of vision.
Surrounded by 29 four-thousand meter peaks, the sun deck offers a spectacular panorama. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 5: Glacier Express train ride Zermatt – St. Moritz
From the Matterhorn to the Upper Engadine the Glacier Express takes you up to the 2,033-meter-high Oberalp-Pass, down into
the Rhine Canyon, through 91 tunnels and over 291 bridges to the world-famous spa resort St. Moritz. The panorama cars offer
uninhibited views of Alpine passes and mountain lakes, steep cliffs and pristine forests. Overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 6: St. Moritz – day at leisure
St. Moritz is often called an Alpine metropolis. There are numerous luxury hotels, spas and upscale shops against an Alpine
background of lakes and mountains. Today you can explore the surrounding mountains on a hiking trip, do some shopping or visit the Segantini-Museum – there are plenty of options for a free day. Overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 7: Departure: train ride St. Moritz – Geneva
On the fastest and most convenient way to get back to Geneva you ride through different sceneries. Via Chur (change trains here), on to Zurich (change trains here) and Bern, the Swiss capital, you get back to the Lake Geneva region and on to the airport. Departure from Geneva.
